About Us

Our founding partner, Michael Hayes, wrote his first generative AI program as a computer science undergrad many years ago.*

After a short stint as a nuclear submarine officer, he held a variety of leadership roles in enterprise software companies and founded his first startup in 2011. Michael's AI experience includes:

• CEO of FeatureX, a computer vision AI startup

• Managing Director of global AI Engagement at Ernst & Young

• CEO of an AI-powered geospatial analytics company inside British Telecom

• COO and Head of AI Strategy of an AI-powered home robotics company.

• Completed the 6-week "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" certificate course at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Michael serves as an advisor at c10 Labs, an MIT-spinout accelerator for AI-first startups. He is also a mentor for the "AI Global Ventures" class at MIT's Media Lab.

Michael has degrees from the University of Notre Dame, MIT, and Tufts University.

*The program was written in LISP and generated really bad Haiku poetry.
